About TmpMail

//Who we are

TmpMail is a free temporary email service operated by TmpMailio, available since 2024 and built to make digital privacy accessible to everyone without friction or cost. TmpMailio was founded by an independent team of developers who encountered the same problem repeatedly: online services require an email address for registration, but providing your real address means accepting spam, tracking, and exposure to data breaches. We built TmpMail to solve that problem in the simplest possible way — an address that works instantly and disappears automatically. No registration, no payment, no compromise.

//Why we built TmpMail

Every time you sign up on a website with your real email, you expose yourself to spam, cross-platform tracking, and potential data breaches. We built TmpMail to eliminate that friction: a temporary address that works instantly, with no bureaucracy and no traces left behind. Our goal is to make digital privacy the path of least resistance, not a technical privilege.

//How it works

When you open TmpMail, our system automatically generates a unique email address on domains we manage directly, powered by the Mail.tm API for reliable email reception. Incoming messages are received in real time via WebSocket connections and stored in Redis in-memory storage — there are no permanent disk writes, no relational database entries, and no server-side logs of user activity. Cloudflare sits in front of our infrastructure to provide DDoS protection and low-latency global delivery without caching any email content. When a mailbox expires after 10 minutes, the Redis keys are purged and the data is gone permanently. There is no user database, no authenticated sessions, and no IP address logging at any layer of the stack.

//Our commitment

We are committed to keeping TmpMail free, ad-free, and tracking-free. If we ever change the service model, we will communicate it in advance on this page. Our users' privacy is non-negotiable.

//Privacy

We store no personal data. Email addresses and received messages are automatically deleted when the mailbox expires (10 minutes by default). No tracking cookies, no ads, no user profiles.
