This service operates under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, EU 2016/679). By using TmpMail, you acknowledge that the processing of data described in this policy is necessary for the provision of the service.
//Data we do NOT collect
TmpMail does not store IP addresses, requires no registration, and uses no tracking or analytics cookies. No user profile is created from your use of the service.
//Data we process temporarily
Email content is stored in memory (Redis) only for the duration of the mailbox lifetime, 10 minutes by default. There is no permanent storage. Emails are automatically deleted when the mailbox expires.
//Cookies
TmpMail does not use tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies. Only browser localStorage is used to remember your theme preference (light/dark) and selected domain options. This data is never transmitted to our servers.
//Your Rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase ("right to be forgotten"), port, and object to the processing of your data. Since TmpMail stores no identifiable data linked to you, these rights are automatically exercised: when your mailbox expires, all associated data is permanently deleted. //Third-party services
TmpMail uses the Mail.tm API to receive emails. Please review Mail.tm's privacy policy for information about data handling on their platform.
//International Transfers
TmpMail servers are located in the European Union. We do not transfer data to third countries outside the European Economic Area. Our email infrastructure provider (Mail.tm) operates under EU legislation.
//Policy Changes
We reserve the right to update this privacy policy to reflect changes in the service or applicable law. The date of the last update appears at the top of this document. Continued use of the service after a change implies acceptance of the new terms.
